So been busy and neglecting the journal entries, but yes about Upperdecks Marvel Beginnings Series 2 that just launched recently. I did 25 cards for the set. Yes, TWENTY-FIVE, so chances are...not very likely to pull one? I don't know, always chance involved in randomness. As far as art in the set was concerned, I worked with the time I was allowed and put more know how than I did with the Marvel Masterpieces'08 set. That being said, I wish I could do 100 cards and at the same time I wish I could do 1 card only. Yeah, it's that type of relationship.

My eyes aren't exactly the greatest, especially not working small and intense hours...they do take a toll. That being said, it's a labor of love so I hope the cards will find a good home and be appreciated. As far as the MB2 return cards/artist proofs are concerned, I still have all my 6 blanks and all are remaining just that...blank. I have no plans to commission them off or draw on them anytime soon. If and when I do, this will be the first place to find out. No worries, I've got other blanks and stuff to do that's all so eventually I'll work my way up to my MB2 blanks.

Till next time everyone, stay sharp, healthy, happy...and flex those damn art muscles! Don't let them sit idle doing nothing for no bodies! :flex:

I've been drawing for as long as I remember, so that would be around when I came to New York City from my home of Taishan, China, at the age of five. I've not stopped drawing since then and have always wanted to pursue a career in the creative world.

I attended St.James, a neighborhood Catholic school. I'm not a Catholic, but my parents wanted a better education for me and my elder brother. After graduating 8th grade I attended another neighborhood school, Murry Bergtraum High School for Business Careers. There I was in the Marketing House, as I felt it was the closest area of study related to art. Upon finishing high school, I ended up in The Fashion Institute of Technology where I spent one year in Fine Arts before switching to Illustration. I graduated with a Bachelors in Illustration.

Now, I occupy my time with freelance work, teaching art, and working on personal pieces. It's not much to brag about, but its my life and its the path I dreamed about pursuing since I was a child. Hopefully things will only get better with each passing month as more projects come around and those that were completed, get released. Either way, I've not much to complain about because life is a one time deal. I'm just happy that I get to wake up every morning to live it. That and I get to create and dream on a daily basis, so I guess I'm sort of a child still. Now, lets get going and flex those art muscles so we can smash face with our work, yeah? :D :strong:
