|TMNT was a big part of my childhood and I got to draw them for IDW! Nice.|
Hello DA peoples. I'm trying to help a friend raise money as she rides for charity for New York Cares in the TD 5 Boro Bike Tour. You see, I'm also a volunteer for New York Cares, but since I can't ride a bike (Yeah, laugh it up! ), I want to help fund raise. Therefore, I will donate my art skills to raise some cash. 100% of your donations will go directly to New York Cares, I'm literally getting no financial gains and I'll be paying for all the shipping for the finished art myself. So, if you'd like to get a piece of art done for yourself or someone you know and help out with a charitable non-profit organization all in one go? Please donate as little or as much as you like and help pass the word.
New York Cares run many programs and events aimed at revitalizing and helping out the city and its inhabitants. Your donations will:
$50 buys 12 children art supplies for the Art Explorers program.
$100 grants books and supplies to 15 children in an Early Morning Reading program.
$250 transforms an empty lot into a vibrant playground with paint and supplies for line games and murals.
Any donations are appreciated but as an added incentive, donations of:
(No movie copying, celebrities, etc, only fiction, comic, fantasy stuff like what you see on my DA page as far as what art work you'll get.)
Please, any amount would be greatly appreciated!
PLEASE Click here to DONATE!
All art work will be completed in the best time frame possible, anywhere between 3-6 weeks. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Please pass the word! THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE x4
Flex those art muscles!
I've been drawing for as long as I remember, so that would be around when I came to New York City from my home of Taishan, China, at the age of five. I've not stopped drawing since then and have always wanted to pursue a career in the creative world.|
I attended St.James, a neighborhood Catholic school. I'm not a Catholic, but my parents wanted a better education for me and my elder brother. After graduating 8th grade I attended another neighborhood school, Murry Bergtraum High School for Business Careers. There I was in the Marketing House, as I felt it was the closest area of study related to art. Upon finishing high school, I ended up in The Fashion Institute of Technology where I spent one year in Fine Arts before switching to Illustration. I graduated with a Bachelors in Illustration.
Now, I occupy my time with freelance work, teaching art, and working on personal pieces. It's not much to brag about, but its my life and its the path I dreamed about pursuing since I was a child. Hopefully things will only get better with each passing month as more projects come around and those that were completed, get released. Either way, I've not much to complain about because life is a one time deal. I'm just happy that I get to wake up every morning to live it. That and I get to create and dream on a daily basis, so I guess I'm sort of a child still. Now, lets get going and flex those art muscles so we can smash face with our work, yeah?
