MoCCA Festival June 6th-7th

Tomorrow the MoCCA festival will officially kick off. I'll be at table 531 with :icongreasegirl: . We'll both be doing our little bit of seat warming and chit chatting. Again the MoCCA festival will be held at the 69th Regiment Armory at Lexington Avenue and 25th Street in New York City. [link] Doors will open up to the public on Saturday at 11am.

I'll be at our table doodling and will be tackling on quick color sketch card commissions for $50 a pop.(Well...if you can call me quick. :X ) You either catch me at MoCCA or find some other way to get some other D.Kuang fellow, because I won't be taking on any sort of commission work outside of MoCCA or eBay. Trust me, it's the whole "get busy" thing and I've got my hands wrapped on other things to deal with continual commission work. Again, sorry for everyone who's interested in commissions. :(

For everyone planning on showing up, hope to catch you at the festival and don't forget to have fun, say hello, and enjoy the day as a whole. Even if you can't make it, its the thought that counts. Take care everyone, thanks for the support as always, and stay on the top side of life.

I've been drawing for as long as I remember, so that would be around when I came to New York City from my home of Taishan, China, at the age of five. I've not stopped drawing since then and have always wanted to pursue a career in the creative world.

I attended St.James, a neighborhood Catholic school. I'm not a Catholic, but my parents wanted a better education for me and my elder brother. After graduating 8th grade I attended another neighborhood school, Murry Bergtraum High School for Business Careers. There I was in the Marketing House, as I felt it was the closest area of study related to art. Upon finishing high school, I ended up in The Fashion Institute of Technology where I spent one year in Fine Arts before switching to Illustration. I graduated with a Bachelors in Illustration.

Now, I occupy my time with freelance work, teaching art, and working on personal pieces. It's not much to brag about, but its my life and its the path I dreamed about pursuing since I was a child. Hopefully things will only get better with each passing month as more projects come around and those that were completed, get released. Either way, I've not much to complain about because life is a one time deal. I'm just happy that I get to wake up every morning to live it. That and I get to create and dream on a daily basis, so I guess I'm sort of a child still. Now, lets get going and flex those art muscles so we can smash face with our work, yeah? :D :strong:
